Snow Day!

Well, we "played" outside for the first time. Alivia was all bundled up; double socks, plastic bags on her feet, two pairs of gloves...the works. She looked like the little boy from A Christmas Story!! My little marshmallow! She didn't move at all! It was so cute watching her just stand there wondering what the heck was going on! She did enjoy being pulled very slowly on her friends' sled! Maybe next time she'll be able to actually play...or next year! :)

Days With Daddy

Let's hope Alivia keeps her love for books. She's holding three of her favorites. I think we read them at least 10 times a day...each! :) I just love when she brings me a book and reaches up to sit on my lap! I guess we need to get a "play" toothbrush and a usable toothbrush

Alivia loves to play in the bath tub! I'm so happy she loves the water. I can't wait to take her to the pool this summer!

Happy New Year!

It's 2009...can you believe it? How time flies!

This year we have a few main things we are very excited about...

• I accepted a higher and different position in Mallinckrodt. My title now is Senior Research Chemist and I'll be doing product support for many of our products and making product/process improvements! I feel so thankful and fortunate that I have this opportunity! So far it's been so exciting to learn new products and speak to some of our customers.
• The Ball family will be relocating to Millstadt hopefully this spring. We are fixing up my grandmother's house and are going to put the condo on the market very soon. We'll be close to family, in a great town, and saving money to eventually put on our "forever home" and a shot at a little brother or sister (or both) for Alivia.
• We'll be going to Disney World sometime in April or May with Grandma Jill and Grandpa Jack and hopefully the rest of the Heller family.
• The 2009 All-Star game will be in St. Louis this year! Imagine all the festivities!
• Craig turns 40 on July 13th! The baseball gods planned the Home-Run Derby on the same day!!! I'm trying my hardest to locate tickets for one of the All-Star events so if you have any connections... :) If I can't find tickets, be ready for an invitation to a little get-together!
• We are looking forward to all the new milestones in Alivia's life and watching her learn and grow!

We brought in the New Year with a small celebration with the Ball family and Brenda and Jackson Pepper. We all made it to midnight...yes ALL! Little Livvy didn't want to miss out, and refused to sleep until 12:30! She was so funny! I wish we had a video of the late evening. Thankfully, she slept in the next day and we all caught up on sleep and had a relaxing day at home.

By the way, this is a container of doll clothes that I had when I was a little girl. We were looking for clothes for her baby Cabbage Patch Kids and for Snoopy's girlfriend, Belle.
