I've seen two fathers up-close-and-personal...my Dad and my husband. There are so many qualities that they share and alot of them are defined in the poem above. I love you both so much.
Craig...you are such a wonderful Daddy to our daughter. It's jsut the most amazing site to see you two together. She loves you so much. One day she'll know how lucky she really is, but until then, I know how lucky she is and know how lucky I am. Your girls love you (all three of us, including Emma!)

Fun in KC!!

This past weekend Craig, Alivia and I packed up our car and took a little mini-trip to KC. It was so wonderful to break our normal routine and spend some time together and with family. We have to thank Aunt Paula and Uncle Bob for welcoming us into their beautiful home and also for feeding us the whole weekend! We really enjoyed relaxing and spending time with Paula, Bob, Jill, Jamie and Kale (sp?)...and of course, their dogs Gabby, Noney (Noah), Maggie and Riley (littlest, little, big, biggest).

Craig was able to get to the Cardinals/Royals game on Friday and sat 18 rows behind the Card's on-deck circle!!! We thought about going Saturday and/or Sunday but it rained one day and was 95 degrees the next. We just didn't think it was good for Livvy.

Craig enjoyed his 2nd Father's Day! We ate at "Mom's Kitchen" and then spent some time together before we loaded up and drove home. We met an old employee/friend of Craig's on the way home. Breaking up the trip did wonders for Alivia, plus, it was fun!

A Week Late...Sorry!

Last weekend was so nice! We had to share our fun with everyone!
Alivia and I went over to Belleville so I could get my hair cut and colored (yes, I have to have it colored) and Grandma Jill treated us to a lunch at St. Clair. It was good despite the change in chef and therefore a change in our meals...who's ever heard of a cob salad without chicken or turkey?????
Anyway, here are two of my favorite girls in the world...Livvy and Mom!Sorry Mom...I know nobody likes a picture of their backside, but this is just too cute! On Sunday we did all sorts of fun things.

We also had to go on a wagon ride!Our neighbor, Barb, let Alivia try to use her granddaughter's bubbles. She did get some bubbles to produce, but mostly just got soapy water everywhere!Time to clean up! The hose is fun!

Emma got a new doggy pillow for our bedroom since we're going to start showing the condo. Livvy's string got caught on it. She's so innovative! What a great imagination! ;) She was sort of upset when Emma tried to sit on it...too funny

Catching up!

These are some pix from the last week or so.

Below is our neighbor and Livvy's good friend, Emily. We went to see Emily, her sister, Darby and Emily's mom, Mary, fish in our subdivision lake. We had to cover up b.c of bugs (and it was chilly for her); we tucked in, pulled up socks, bug sprayed and put her hat! Unfortunately...no fish for Alivia to see but did get this adorable picture! This was on our way to the lake

I wish we could all walk in other's shoes every once in a while. I think we all need that! :)
